Cari Ledesma began her career in the insurance industry with Progressive Insurance as a licensed adjuster in 2002.  Two years later, she joined the Texas Schools Property & Casualty (predecessor of Risk Management Cooperative of Texas) as a claims adjuster.  Her effective leadership and management skills led to her rise within the company in a short period of time.  As Claims Manager, she developed claims procedures, and managed the adjustment of claims and litigation support.  She also provided claims review and evaluation of loss analysis for program performance.

Currently, Cari serves as the Deputy Director for RMC of Texas.  In that role, she is responsible for coordinating the delivery of risk management functions benefiting the members of the Cooperative, including marketing, vendor relations, and claims administration.  She also assists in the development of school safety programs, as well.  Cari is a graduate of Texas A&M University, College Station.
