Bill Alcorn graduated from Graford ISD and earned an Associate’s degree in Arts from Weatherford College in 1975.  He later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in English and physical education, a Master’s degree in Education Administration, and his Mid-Management and Superintendent certifications all from Tarleton State University between the years of 1978 and 1999.  Overall, Bill spent 43 years in education with the last 25 years as a Texas ISD superintendent.  He has been a member of the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) and Texas Association of Community Schools (TACS) organizations and served as president of TACS in 2018.  Bill retired from his career in education in 2021.  He began his work with the Risk Management Cooperative of Texas in 2022 as a field service representative and supports our Member school districts across the state of Texas.
